Highland Park’s Famous Artists and Authors Featured In a Collaboration by East on Central, the Highland Park Historical Society, and the Highland Park Public Library
East on Central, the Highland Park Historical Society, and the Highland Park Public Library are pleased to present “A Town of Talent: Writers and Artists in Highland Park,” on Wednesday, October 27, at 7:00 p.m., at the library, 494 Laurel Avenue, Highland Park, IL.
Elliott Miller, president of the Highland Park Historical Society, will speak about the famous authors and artists who have lived and worked in Highland Park over the last 140 years. Highland Park has a long history as a home for creativity, as East on Central continues to prove. Mr. Miller, who has done extensive research on the subject, will demonstrate the depth of that history. According to Mr. Miller, “I was amazed to discover the artists and writers who lived in our city. Some of these people have made a profound impact on the artistic world, and I’d like to help others discover and appreciate our rich heritage.”
